VinStory is a digital platform built for automotive enthusiasts to document and showcase their vehicle builds through personalized profiles and QR-linked pages.

By accessing or using VinStory, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

VinStory is available only to individuals 18 years of age or older.

​

By creating an account or purchasing a membership, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

​

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that do not meet this requirement.

3. Membership & Activation

​

To create a build profile, users must purchase a VinStory membership plan.

​

Each plan includes:

• A one-time activation fee

• Annual membership access

 

Your initial payment includes activation and the first year of membership. Membership renews automatically each year unless canceled prior to renewal.

If membership expires, the build profile may be archived.

​

4. Payments & Renewals

​

All activation fees are non-refundable.

​

Membership renews annually at the rate shown at checkout. You may cancel at any time before renewal to avoid future charges.

 

VinStory reserves the right to update pricing with notice prior to renewal periods.

5. Your Content

​

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, and descriptions you submit.

​

By uploading content to VinStory, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

​

• Display your build on the platform

• Feature your build in promotional materials

• Share your build across VinStory marketing channels

 

You are responsible for ensuring that:

​

• You own or have permission to use all uploaded media

• Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights

• Your submissions are accurate and lawful

 

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.

6. Build Review & Approval

​

All build submissions are subject to review before publication.

​

If a submission does not meet VinStory’s guidelines, the user will be notified and given an opportunity to revise and resubmit.

VinStory reserves the right to decline publication of builds that do not comply with platform standards.

​

Activation fees are non-refundable regardless of approval outcome.

​

7. Community Standards

​

VinStory is built around automotive culture and respect.

​

The following are prohibited:

​

• Illegal activity

• Hate speech or harassment

• Explicit or adult content

• Stolen images or copyrighted material without permission

• Misleading build claims

 

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.

 

8. Not a Marketplace

​

VinStory is not a vehicle sales platform.

​

Users may not list vehicles for sale or conduct transactions through the platform. VinStory is not responsible for private transactions conducted outside the platform.

9. Platform Availability

​

We work to keep VinStory secure and operational, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

​

We may update, modify, or improve the platform at any time.

​

10. Limitation of Liability

​

VinStory is not responsible for:

​

• The accuracy of user-submitted build details

• Mechanical performance claims

• QR code misuse

• Losses resulting from reliance on user content

 

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Right to Refuse Service

​

We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend accounts, or remove builds at our discretion if activity is harmful to the platform or community.

12. Updates to These Terms

​

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of VinStory constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
